01 / THE CHALLENGE

A shipment moves across departments. Its information should move with it.

An enquiry becomes a quotation, a booking, a shipment, a delivery and an invoice. Operations needs routing and milestones; finance needs charges, supplier costs and postings. The project brings these perspectives around a shared job record so users can trace the operational journey and its financial context.

02 / THE APPROACH

Connect the job file to the commercial and accounting workflow.

The supplied demonstration covers air, land and sea freight alongside quotations, rates, bookings, shipment documents and milestones. Job charge lines and supplier costs connect with invoicing, payments, a general ledger and profitability reporting. A server-backed mode persists records, while a standalone mode supports browser-local demonstrations.

  • Enquiries, quotations, rate cards and bookings
  • Air, land and sea shipment registers and job files
  • Documents, containers, cargo and milestone tracking
  • Job costing, invoicing, supplier bills and ledger workflows
  • Shipment profitability and management reporting
03 / DEMONSTRATED OUTCOME

A working model of the forwarding operation.

The supplied project includes a working demonstration application, persistent-server support, a standalone build and screen-level documentation. Screens use sample operating data. Carrier feeds, customs, GPS, banking and tax-platform connections require separate integration and acceptance work; the study makes no certification or production go-live claim.
